New Recipe!

I created a new dip!

Ingredients:

2 8oz packages Cream Cheese

1 4oz bar of White Chocolate (I used Ghirardelli)

8oz Cranberries

Directions:

Melt the bar of white chocolate, after melted mix it into the cream cheese.

Fold in cranberries.

Enjoy!!!!!

Suggestions:

Serve with crackers, pretzels, or what ever you want! :D

Use craisins (dried cranberries) instead of fresh cranberries.

Add in some powdered sugar to make it sweeter.

It was tart, which I liked so its a personal preference.

Football Thursday, Friday, Saturday....

I love football!

I really do, but sometimes I have to do something while I watch a game.

So today I figured I have all these frames, and things I want to do with them so why not?

I gathered all my stuff and hauled it upstairs
(so I could keep an eye on the dogs).

I picked up some card stock while I was at Walmart earlier today.

I have all these Subway art for different holidays
 bookmarked on my computer.
So I got to working in Picasa to print them out.

I didn't recreate them as my own & will include links to where I got them for you! :D

Picture Frames:

The Ornate Black 2x3 & White 5x7ones I got at Hobby Lobby 50% off! Major Deal!!

I <3 Deals!!

Ok. Here is what I did:

I downloaded the printable of "baby you're a firework" (The Letter 4)

I used Picasa to print it off.
I wanted it to be 2x3 to fit in a frame.

I also printed off multiple copies on the same page (just in case)
(I tried for 9 but I had the printer configured wrong, so I only got 6)

I used the Fiskars paper cutter.

To cut it down from 8.5x11 to 2x3

The final product!!!

Here is another one I did!
You can find it at Deviant Art

Here they are together!

Here is one I did for New Years!'
You can find it at  Custom Printables

I have more that I did,
but I think that is enough for now! :)

Do you need to do something while watching football? What do you do?

Blinging Out a Mirror!

I have this full length mirror that I've had forever! It been kinda dingy and I didn't want to buy a new since it still works! So while on Pinterest I've seen where people have embellished mirrors, frames, or whatever.
For Example:

So yesterday I went to Wal-Mart (cause its the only store my town has!), and got
an new hot glue gun, and floral gems. I used the Sapphire mix.

Which has a smoky gray, dark blue, and vibrant teal. I had also picked up a Mini Silver package too.
I used the Mini silver to do the corners, and the rest was the Sapphire mix.

So this was work in progress!

This is the finished product!! I'm so excited! I just hope it stays up!!

Couple of notes:
Hot Glue Guns are HOT!
Please be careful!
I burnt 2 fingers doing this pretty badly!

Onsie!

Here is a picture of my cousin's new baby girl! They even put her in the onsie I made for them!!

(I've decided to start blocking any child's face)

She was 2 days old!!

Hi! Its an Update!!!

Ok so I forgot about posting on the blog! So to catch up:

1. Three new babies! Two are cousins & one is a neighbor! They all loved their onsies!

2. O is back home from Iraq, L was a little leery the first day, but warmed up to him right away!

3. Thanksgiving came & I made the whole dinner (except my mom did make the sweet potatoes)

4. I went home for a week & got to hold a brand new baby!!

5. I think I realized that I'm an adult and I don't really like it while I was home. It was actually a painful realization and personal.

So some things I've found on pinterest lately that I love:

purple cat eye smokey eye shadow

gorgeous!

And I will leave you with some humor:

Blog Reading & Onsies

So I recently have become "obsessed" with Pinterest. Its a neat "social networking" site which you can share pictures of things you like with others. Its an online bulletin board :D

So I've been finding AWESOME blogs while on pinterest and have resolved to try and stay up to date with them. I've found awesome tutorials on crafting and other things.

So in all of this I found this blog: Joy is at Home she has awesome DIY tutorials and DIY wedding things too! Then while reading through her past posts I stumbled upon Kevin & Amanda who along with their blog post FREE fonts for scrapbooking and other uses!

So I have a TON of friends & family who are expecting & I was trying to come up with a fun & easy (cheap too!) gift. Joy posted this:

I thought this was an awesome idea! So I am currently in the middle of making onsies (some are not necessarily like this!) So coming soon are the pictures of how and what I've made!
PS My 4th move of the year has gone well and I am pleased with how everything is going! :D
